In my private practice, which is based in Castleknock, my goal is to empower students to make informed and confident decisions about their future pathways. Each student completes carefully selected career assessments using the MyFuture+ platform. We then explore their preferred subjects, personal interests, and assessment results in detail. These insights provide a strong foundation for planning the next step. Each student’s journey is unique. My role is to guide, support and provide clarity so that every student can move forward with confidence and purpose

For over 30 years, education has been at the heart of my professional life. I have worked across the full spectrum of learning. I have delivered guidance & counselling in a top-performing second level school on the league tables, I have delivered  through Irish in a gaelscoil, and also in further education (FET) settings. In addition I have taught French and German through Irish and through English at Junior and Leaving Certificate levels. This breadth of experience has given me a deep understanding of the academic journey students travel, and the many decisions that shape their futures and how students' needs evolve at every age and stage.

Throughout my career, I have always been passionate about helping people recognise their strengths and realise their potential. I am a published  author with CJ Fallon, having written a French school textbook and also taught and designed language modules and exams for UCD. I am also a member of the Institute of Guidance Counsellors and registered with the Teaching Council, ensuring my work is grounded in professional standards, ethics, and best practice.

Establishing my private 1–1 consultation service grew naturally from years of working closely with students in schools. I saw first-hand how powerful personalised guidance can be — especially during the senior cycle years when choices about subjects, CAO courses, apprenticeships, and career pathways can feel overwhelming.

I am dedicated to helping students navigate their educational journey and make informed decisions about their future. With a personalised approach, I aim to understand each student's unique strengths and interests to provide tailored guidance and support.
