Terms and Conditions

1. About the Service

Vivienne Meade provides personalised one-to-one educational and career guidance consultations for secondary school students, including students in Transition Year, 5th Year and 6th Year. Consultations support students in exploring their interests, strengths and abilities, researching educational and career pathways, and making informed decisions about future options. Sessions take place in a private consultation setting in Castleknock, Dublin 15.

2. Professional Standards

Vivienne Meade is a qualified guidance counsellor and teacher. The service aims to provide professional, impartial and supportive guidance in line with good practice in educational and career guidance. Consultations may include discussion of CAO courses, further education and training pathways, labour market information, and career exploration resources.

3. Appointment Duration

Standard consultations last approximately two hours. The consultation typically includes discussion of the student’s interests, strengths and goals, exploration of educational and career options, and guidance on researching courses and careers. The final 30 minutes of the consultation are normally dedicated to discussing key points and recommendations with the student’s parent(s) or guardian(s).

4. Booking Appointments

All appointments must be booked through the online booking system. Bookings must be made by a parent or legal guardian, as consultations are provided to students under 18 years of age. An appointment is confirmed once the booking has been completed online and full payment has been made through the booking system. A confirmation email will be issued once the booking is complete. By completing a consultation purchase the parent/guardian agrees to receive email and/or phone notifications regarding the booking.

5. Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking through the online booking platform. Payments are processed securely through the Wix booking system.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Appointments cancelled 48 hours or more before the consultation may be rescheduled. Cancellations made at least 48 hours before scheduled service will receive a refund minus a 25 euro administrative fee. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled consultation are non-refundable. If a student does not attend the appointment, the consultation fee will not be refunded. If a student arrives late, the consultation will still finish at the originally scheduled time.

7. Parental Consent

As consultations involve students under the age of 18, bookings must be made by a parent or legal guardian. By booking a consultation, the parent or guardian confirms that they consent to the student participating in the consultation and to the collection of relevant information necessary to provide guidance services.
