Personalized Educational Guidance

Empowering Students to Excel Academically

Vivienne Meade offers personalised one-to-one educational and career guidance in Castleknock, Dublin 15 for students in Transition Year, 5th Year and 6th Year. During the two-hour consultation, students receive individualised support and advice to help them make informed choices and decisions about their future pathways. The final 30 minutes of each session are dedicated to discussing the student's progress with their parents or guardians.

Guidance Consultation
 

The aim of this two hour session is to enable students to identify suitable careers and courses whether it be CAO, PLC/FET or Apprenticeships. Students will sit online assessments using MyFuture+. Discussion includes subject preference, academics/results to date, projected points and where to access information. Students are provided with a list of personalised courses to research. Parent/Guardians are very welcome to join for the final thirty minutes. Cost per session €250.

Guidance Consultation
 

The aim of this two hour session is to help guide students to make senior cycle subject choice. Students will sit online assessments using MyFuture+. Discussion includes subject preference, academics/results to date, natural aptitudes/abilities. Discussion also includes points system, essential subjects, minimum entry college requirements, subject requirements for certain courses and useful subjects for career sectors. Parent/Guardians are very welcome to join for the final thirty minutes. Cost per session €250.

Follow on
Guidance Consultation
 

This session is for students who have worked with me before and need more guidance. Discussion could include:

  • Difficulties with school or college subjects

  • Finalising your CAO order of preference

  • Applications for DARE or HEAR

  • Deferring a college place
